Waste to Wear

Waste to Wear is a sustainable fashion brand that uses pre-consumer discarded textiles from local fashion houses to make new fashionable products. The project is a collaboration between Joy Wanja, Stephanie Musombi, Immaculate Wangari and Jeremy Omukoba. The team worked together to address a textile management problem for fashion producers, particularly small-scale brands producing locally in Kenya, by collecting their textile waste and giving it a new life. The project aims to encourage local fashion enterprises to practice ethical fashion through proper waste management.
